- Responsible for fully operational newly expanded west side fire station
- Protected our neighborhoods from prospective intrusive projects like the “prison”, rage room, and ATV race track
- Secured Federal and State funding for area infrastructure
- Advocate fo Robinson Lake and Hobart Marsh Plan
- Successfully championed largest new residential development in our area
- Helped with rehabilitation of Arts League
- Collaborated with government agencies to dramatically reduce flooding around the cemetery and I-65 corridor
- Helped improve PUBLIC SAFETY and LOWERED CRIME RATE
- Worked to assess and improve the quality of city services
- Increased street paving and refurbishing in district
- Leading advocate for more than 12 million dollars in federally funded stormwater alleviation projects directly impacting our 5th District
- Successfully reduced the number of deficient and abandoned properties by almost two-thirds
- Working with the mayor to focus on projects in our district such as the new multi-sports complex expansion at Hillman Park
- Provided much needed support leading to the construction of a facility to be located in Hobart with state and federal veteran agencies providing much needed housing and medical services for deserving veterans
