John Brezik was among the City Council members in Hobart who recently adopted a resolution asking the Indiana General Assembly to change its method of creating boundaries for legislative districts.
The resolution states a conflict of interest exists in the current redistricting process “as state legislators are effectively choosing their own constituents.”
It recommends creating a citizen-led commission for future redistricting.
