In additional to serving the the City of Hobart’s 5th District as Councilman, John Brezik is also active in organizations that enhance the quality of life for everyone in the region, including those at the Lake County Animal Shelter.
As President of Police Organization FOPA 125, John Brezik joined volunteers from around the area to support ongoing fundraising efforts for the Lake County Sheriff’s Animal Shelter.
The event took place at Broadway and Route 30 in Merrillville over the course of two days in conjunction with the Merrillville Fire Department where donors were asked to “fill the boot.”
The event raised $5,000 as result of collection to fill the boot.
